("DepthX", "we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England & Wales, company number 16162223, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, London, Covent Garden, London, England, WC2H 9JQ. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you use depthx.co.uk (the "Site"). 2. What data we collect We collect the minimum data needed to run this Site: - Contact form submissions: your name, email address, the role you select (investor, researcher, or company), and the content of your message. - Aggregate usage data: the page you visited and the country your visit came from, used only in aggregate to understand which parts of the Site are useful. We do not use cookies for this, and we do not track individual visitors across sessions or build profiles of you. - Interview and survey responses: the answers you give in a DepthX customer-discovery interview or survey, and any details you choose to provide, as described in section 3. 3. Interviews and surveys When you take part in a DepthX customer-discovery interview or survey (for example at an exhibition, or through the interview form on this Site), we collect the answers you give to our questions. We also record your interviewee type (for example exhibitor, organiser, agency or visitor), the exhibition or event, and, only if you choose to provide them, your company, role and contact details. We do not ask for sensitive personal data, and we ask you not to include any in your free-text answers. Before any information is recorded, we ask you to confirm that you have read this Privacy Policy and to give your explicit consent to your responses being recorded and stored. If you do not consent, no interview data is recorded. We keep a record that consent was given, including the date and time and the version of this policy you agreed to. We use interview and survey responses only for market and product research: to understand audience needs and to shape the development of DepthX. Where you agree to be contacted, we use your contact details only for the follow-up you agreed to. Results are analysed in aggregate and shared internally. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising. Our legal basis for processing interview and survey data is your explicit consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting privacy@depthx.co.uk. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew, and we will delete your interview responses on request. Interview and survey data is stored with our hosting provider (see "Who we share data with" below), and access is restricted to authorised DepthX team members. We keep it for as long as it is needed for this research and for a reasonable period afterwards, after which it is deleted or anonymised. 4. How we use your data We use contact form submissions solely to respond to your enquiry and route it to the right team (investment, research collaboration, or commercial licensing). We use aggregate usage data solely to understand overall Site traffic and improve our content. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. 5. Legal basis We process contact form data on the basis of your consent (you choose to submit the form) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We process aggregate usage data on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the Site is used, in a way that does not identify you individually. 6. Data retention We retain contact form submissions for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, after which they are deleted. Aggregate usage data is retained in aggregate form and is not linked to an identifiable individual. 7. Who we share data with We use Supabase, Inc. as our data hosting and infrastructure provider, which stores data on our behalf under its own data processing terms. We do not share your personal data with any other third party except where required by law. 8. Your rights Under UK GDPR, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict our processing of it, and to request a copy of it in a portable format. Any cookies used are strictly necessary for the Site's admin panel to function (e.g. keeping you signed in). 10. Changes to this policy We may update this policy from time to time.
